We had so much fun last time that Tiff and I decided to go to Station 22‘s Supper Club event again this month. This time around they did a Carolina-style pig pickin’. The menu was slaw, hushpuppies, baked beans, macaroni salad, and of course the pig. There was a great folk band entertaining us throughout the night called Cotton Bones. The night ended with some delicious fruit cobbler and relaxing while listing to music and chatting with the people around us. Once again it was a wonderful night.

[…] This phenomenon was made strikingly clear to me last week at Station 22′s Supper Club. The club was held Aug. 30 and was advertised as a “Carolina-style Pig Pickin’” with “a whole roast hog served up with hushpuppies, beans, sweet tea, and more.” Pork and a pig’s head cooked by Station 22. The photos are amazing. I can almost taste the slaw, smell the pork, and hear the music.
